Mom.me
Mom.me is the modern mom's go-to site for all things motherhood. As Art Director, I oversaw every touch point of the brand including web and mobile design, video and photography direction, editorial, digital and print marketing assets, and social media.
I was tasked with reimagining the mom.me brand; taking it from it's old look and feel to something more modern that would speak to the millennial mom. At the core of the redesign was the website which started with rethinking the branding and user interface.
We wanted to get the idea of "a mother's touch" across in the branding leading the team to explore a series of handwritten and script logos representing a mom's handwriting and the fluidity and spontaneity of motherhood.
We chose colors that were playful yet not gender specific but picked a palette where supporting colors could be easily injected in editorial and content design. In addition to the color palette, we added a brushstroke element that could be used on its own or in a pattern to further support the idea of "a mother's touch". Because the logo is handwritten, we picked a font story that felt more elevated and sophisticated.
Web & Mobile Design
I worked in conjunction with UX and UI designers during wireframing and designing as well as product managers to understand all the redesign objectives and stakeholder goals. During hand off, the design team provided our developers with a full style guide for reference. We also worked with them side by side during launch to ensure the front end matched final design mocks and provided specific CSS changes that needed to be made.
My involvement continued post launch as we monitored engagement and provided design solutions to further enhance user experience and retention.
Editorial & Visual Design
I worked closely with the editorial team on designing social graphics and videos for all platforms including Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook.

Video & Photography
I’m responsible for the creative direction of video and photoshoots that are developed in-house and work with a team of producers, DP’s, photographers, stylists and editors on the development and execution of all shoots. Quick Cooks and Mom Hacks are two major long-standing Mom.me video franchises that have been rebranded to support the new direction.
